Dr. Sandra Soo-Jin Lee appointed to Commission on the History of Race and Racism

Division Chief Dr. Sandra Soo-Jin Lee has been appointed to President Bollinger's newly formed Commission on the History of Race and Racism at Columbia University, as part of its university-wide anti-racism efforts.  The commission is a faculty-led body, including stakeholders from across the University community, to address how Columbia’s historical ties to slavery and racism manifest in our present day symbols and representations, from statues to named professorships.
